The Group has enacted "Green procurement guidelines" and contributes to the creation of sustainable communities by promoting the purchase of goods and services that are conducive the reduction of adverse environmental impact, such as encouraging green purchasing and the long-term usage of products for resource saving.
We establish eco-friendly bank branches by introducing solar power/wind power generators, LED lighting, equipment utilizing rainwater/geothermal heat, rooftop greening, natural light, heat insulation/cooling through double skin structures, and porous asphalt.

The Group strives to reduce energy use following its environmental policy, “practices to reduce the environmental impact.”
We are working to reduce energy consumption by encouraging employees to leave work early, installing energy-saving equipment (replacing old air-conditioning equipment, power saving in ATMs), introducing eco-friendly cars, and carsharing.
We also report the result once every year based on the Act on the Rational Use of Energy (Energy Conservation Law).
