To empower persons with disabilities, the Group promotes the recruitment of persons with disabilities and supportive activities to create a better workplace and encourage their independence.
“Job Center Sawayaka” was established in April 2008 to support persons with disabilities for their independence and increase the job opportunities in the local communities. Through work experience at a bank (internships for a maximum three years), interns develop social skills and independence such as business manners, and 35 graduates thus far got a job in the local companies. We are contributing to expanding job opportunities for all.
Agricultural company Haru Ichiban Co., Ltd. was established with investment by Kagoshima Bank and others to grasp and solve agricultural issues. The company practices agriculture and welfare collaboration and employs persons with disabilities in the community, offering various positions.
The Group is promoting the employment of persons with disabilities by participating in job interview events and holding information sessions at schools for the deaf.
We aim to offer opportunities for retired persons to get a stable job and income and provide a work environment where they can use their know-how.
To promote the participation of foreign nationals, the Group adopts flexible standards for recruitment. The rules of employment indicate a ban on workplace discrimination and thorough implementation of equal treatment.
Kyushu Asia Human Resources Development Cooperative was established in October 2017 by Kagoshima Bank group companies and local companies, and Kagoshima Bank supports its operations and funding. We provide technical guidance in Japan as part of the international contribution to support human resource development in developing countries.
