Whistleblowing System

Based on our Compliance Hotline Regulations, we have put a system whereby staff can report directly to the Compliance Department or Corporate Auditors if they find the Group’s executives or staff members involved in illegal or fraudulent acts or violate the employment rules.
When a report is received by the reporting point of contact, The Compliance Risk Management Department will coordinate with the relevant divisions as necessary, conduct an investigation into the facts, and identify any compliance violations of the rules of employment, internal regulations and the like.
The status of reports received and response to same with regard to matters concerning whistleblowing at Kyushu FG is regularly reported to the CR Committee and Kyushu FG’s Corporate Auditors.
Group-wide Rules of Reporting to Corporate Auditors and Compliance Hotline Rules provide complete confidentiality for response and protection of privacy for those making reports as well as prohibiting their disadvantageous or unfair treatment, and effectiveness of the whistleblowing system is ensured by stipulating that necessary measures including disciplinary action will be taken against employees who are in violation.
There were 5 reports received by the reporting point of contact both internally and externally for Kyushu FG and Group companies in FY2021.
